Badlands Vest
A rugged yet stylish piece of outdoor wear is probably the last thing you’d expect from a coffee company, but C. Heritage Co., the apparel division of Calgary Heritage Roasting Co., is all about paying homage to its beginnings. Co-owners Mike Wenzlawe and Jamie Parker were firefighters in 2015 who learned to roast coffee in the bush with just a cast iron pan and green beans. This practice evolved into a coffee business that expanded to create outdoor apparel. The company is about more than just coffee – it’s a lifestyle, and the Badlands Vest is representative of that versatility and value. Their goal when designing it was to create a piece that connects the wearer with the outdoors and showcases a passion for nature. The vest has been field tested on hikes, hunts, fishing trips and more to ensure it can withstand the wear and tear of Alberta’s badlands, resulting in a piece that is built to last.
