Shampoo and Conditioner Bars

By Jack59 Inc. | Made in Edmonton

Metis entrepreneur Vanessa Marshall founded her company in 2015, motivated in part by a desire to show her daughter and other Aboriginal women that it is possible to overcome hardships and follow your dreams. While Marshall was familiar with shampoo bars, she had never found one that didn’t make her hair feel coarse and dry, so she decided to make her own. Thus Jack59 Inc. was born. Since then, she has opened a retail space, employed a team of 13 women at a living wage and eliminated waste from more than 500,000 plastic bottles. The sulfate-free bars are pH balanced to between 4.5 and 5.5 and last more than 80 washes. They also smell amazing, lather well and actually get your hair clean. Jack59 Inc. has multiple options to accommodate nearly every hair type, including thick, curl, dry, processed, fragile, oily and regular.
